No. The liquid in your smart pitcher will not boil over.

You can choose your own amount of liquid to steam but there is a set minimum and maximum amount in order to always get the best quality microfoam. The standard accepted quantity depends on the size of the pitcher and the recipes. Just follow the Moose advice displayed on screen and you can't miss.

Not enough liquid in your pitcher

When there is not enough liquid in the smart pitcher to steam, you will see the notification below on the touch display when you put the filled pitcher on the Moose device.

Just take the pitcher off and add more liquid. Place the filled pitcher back on the pitcher holder. The device restarts steaming automatically and the notification below disappears.

MOOSE TIP

Do NOT add liquid to the pitcher while the pitcher is on the pitcher holder but always take it off first. Adding liquid while the pitcher is on can result in bad quality foam.

Too much liquid in your pitcher

When there is too much liquid in your smart jug to steam, you will see the notification below on the touch display when you put the filled pitcher on the Moose device.

Just take the pitcher off and remove some liquid. Place the pitcher back on the pitcher holder. The device restarts steaming automatically and the notification below disappears.

MOOSE TIP

Every coffee bar uses its own cups, latte sizes and recipes. Try out which amount of milk or alternatives you need for your cappuccino, flat white, ... and stick to it. This will prevent milk waste and save on your budget. Every smart moose pitcher has grade marks inside so easy peasy to pour the perfect amount every time.
