How do you know how much milk can go into a smart moose pitcher? When you put a milk filled pitcher on the device, the Perfect Moose automatically calculates how much is too much, and how little is too little for a perfect outcome.
For example, if there were to be too much milk in the jug to steam, the milk might 'boil over' due to stretching and volume increase. In order to prevent that from happening, the Perfect Moose will not start and will ask you (politely, via the display) to remove x ml from the pitcher. Handy, right?
TIP | Try out the perfect amount of milk in your pitcher based on your own cafe cups. Find your perfect amount, use the level indicators on the inside of the pitcher to remember. Less waste. Budget saved.
No worries for you
When you adjust the recipe on your pitcher (that's temperature and texture), the Perfect Moose will automatically adjust the starting volume. Long story short... loads of calculations in a fraction of a second. You won't notice a thing.
For the geeks, we love to indulge. These are the minimal starting levels per smart moose pitcher size. The maximum volume of milk to start with depends on the amount of stretching and will also be affected by the temperature selection and extra-hot button.
minimum start volume | maximum start volume | |
35cl | 12oz (small pitcher) | 12cl | 4oz | depends on texture & temperature setting + extra hot button activated or not |
50cl | 16oz (medium pitcher) | 14.5cl | 4.9oz | depends on texture & temperature setting + extra hot button activated or not |
75 cl | 25oz (large pitcher) | 23cl | 7.7oz | depends on texture & temperature setting + extra hot button activated or not |
100cl | 33oz (extra large pitcher) | 39cl | 13.2oz | depends on texture & temperature setting + extra hot button activated or not |
