BEFORE YOU START

  • Before you start, make sure the device is turned off and disconnected!
  • Shut off the steam source
  • Remove the Moose housing



PROCEDURE

  • Loosen the ABA hose clamp with a 15mm screw that clamp the internal steam hose on T-piece of the foamer valve assembly. Slide the ABA hose clamp aside. 
  • Remove the internal steam hose from the T-piece. Keep the ABA hose clamp, because this hose clamp will be reused.
  • Remove the old internal steam hose from the internal (black) plastic structure of Perfect Moose. Keep the white plastic internal hose clamp (frame mounted) which guides the hose in the plastic structure.
  • Lock the steam pipe assembly by placing something (e.g. allen key) in the internal plastic structure.
  • Place the new internal steam hose in the white plastic internal hose clamp. Guide the new internal steam hose through the internal plastic structure of Perfect Moose and fasten the white hose clamp
  • Slide the 3x ABA hose clamp over the internal steam hose, pay attention to the orientation and the order of the hose clamps.
  • Apply some water based & foodsafe lubricant on the steam pipe assembly and the T-piece of the foamer valve assembly
  • Slide the internal steam hose 2cm over the steam pipe assembly. Slide the internal steam hose all the way over the T-piece of the foamer valve assembly.
  • Position and orientate the 15mm ABA hose clamp until it sits halfway on the metal and the 13mm ABA hose clamp on the plastic part of the steam pipe assembly. position the 13mm ABA hose clamp halfway on the T-piece of the foamer valve assembly.
 
  • Tighten the ABA hose clamps, make sure the orientation and positioning is still correctly. (See pictures above)
  • Close the Moose housing.
